BAGHDAD, Feb. 3, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iraq defeated Jordan by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Friday.
The result put the Iraqi second in Group 1 with 7 points. Jordan is third with 3 points. In their last game, Iraq will meet group leaders Qatar on February 10, while Jordan will face Oman.
