SEOUL, May. 23, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : Malaysia defeated Nepal by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday.
The result put the Malaysians second in Group 4 with 2 points. In their next game, Malaysia will meet Singapore on May 25, while Nepal will face South Korea.
