SEOUL, May. 23, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Singapore by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday.
The result put the Koreans top of Group 4 with 2 points. In their next game, South Korea will meet third-placed Nepal on May 25, while Singapore will face Malaysia.
