SEOUL, May. 27, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : Singapore defeated Nepal by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Saturday.
The result put the Singaporeans third in Group 4 with 2 points. Nepal is bottom with no points. In their next game, Singapore will meet second-placed Malaysia on June 3, while Nepal will face South Korea.
