SINGAPORE, Jun. 3, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Nepal by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Saturday.
The result put the Koreans top of Group 4 with 8 points. Nepal is bottom with no points. In their next game, South Korea will meet second-placed Malaysia on June 5, while Nepal will face Singapore.
