SINGAPORE, Jun. 5, 1989 (AMP) — Italy 90 (Asian Qualifiers) : Singapore defeated Nepal by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 1990 FIFA World Cup on Monday.
The result put the Singaporeans second in Group 4 with 5 points. Nepal is bottom with no points. In their last game, Singapore will meet group leaders South Korea on June 7, while Nepal will face Malaysia.
