WILLEMSTAD, Jul. 29, 1988 (AMP) — Italy 90 (American Qualifiers) : The Netherlands Antilles defeated Antigua and Barbuda on penalties 3-1, after the match ended 0-1 in regulation time, in the second leg of a qualifying game on Friday. Netherlands Antilles, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the next round of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Antigua and Barbuda is eliminated.
