STANFORD, Jul. 4, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : Brazil qualified to the quarter-finals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against the United States (halftime: 0-0) on Monday at the Stanford Stadium.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Bebeto in the 72nd minute.
