DALLAS, Jul. 9, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : Brazil reached the semifinals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup with a 3-2 win against the Netherlands (halftime: 0-0) on Saturday afternoon at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
The Netherlands made the Brazilians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Romário ('53), Bebeto ('63) and Branco ('81).
