Brazil beats Italy in shoot out to win 1994 World Cup
PASADENA, Jul. 17, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : Brazil claimed a fourth FIFA World Cup crown after defeating Italy 3-2 on penalties (after a 0-0 draw) in the final on Sunday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Brazilians finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 3-2.
