HARARE, Jan. 31, 1993 (AMP) — USA 94 (African Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Angola by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 1994 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.
The result put the Zimbabweans top of Group C with 13 points. Angola is third with 2 points. In their last game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed Egypt on April 15, while Angola will face Togo.
