BARRANQUILLA, Aug. 29, 1993 (AMP) — USA 94 (South American Qualifiers) : Colombia defeated Peru by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1994 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.
The result put the Colombians top of Group A with 11 points. Peru is bottom with no points. In their last game, Colombia will meet second-placed Argentina on September 5, while Peru will face Paraguay.
