NIIGATA, Jun. 15, 2002 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 : England qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup with a 3-0 win against Denmark (halftime: 3-0) on Saturday night at the Niigata Stadium.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Rio Ferdinand ('5), Michael Owen ('22) and Emile Heskey ('44).
