KOBE, Jun. 17, 2002 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 : Brazil qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 win against Belgium (halftime: 0-0) on Monday night at the Kobe Wing Stadium.
45 minutes of play and neither the Brazilians nor the Belgians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Rivaldo ('67) and Ronaldo ('87).
