Germany beats South Korea to reach World Cup final
SEOUL, Jun. 25, 2002 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 : Germany reached the FIFA World Cup final for the seventh time in their history with a 1-0 win against South Korea (halftime: 0-0) on Tuesday night at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
South Korea made the Germans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by German midfielder Michael Ballack in the 75th minute.
