SAITAMA, Jun. 26, 2002 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 : Brazil reached the FIFA World Cup final for the sixth time in their history with a 1-0 win against Turkey (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday night at the Saitama Stadium 2002 in Saitama.
45 minutes of play and neither the Brazilians nor the Turks have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Ronaldo in the 49th minute.
