DAMMAM, Feb. 10, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : Mongolia tied 1-1 with Vietnam (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Vietnamese second in Group 10 with 2 points. Mongolia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Vietnam will meet group leaders Saudi Arabia on February 12, while Mongolia will face Bangladesh.
