DAMMAM, Feb. 12, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Vietnam by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Monday night.
The result put the Saudi top of Group 10 with 9 points. Vietnam is third with 2 points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet Mongolia on February 15, while Vietnam will face Bangladesh.
