DAMMAM, Feb. 15, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Mongolia by a big score of 6-1 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night.
The result put the Saudi top of Group 10 with 12 points. Mongolia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet second-placed Bangladesh on February 17, while Mongolia will face Vietnam.
