BEIRUT, May. 13, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : Lebanon defeated Pakistan by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night.
The result put the Lebanese top of Group 5 with 3 points. In their next game, Lebanon will meet third-placed Sri Lanka on May 15, while Pakistan will face Thailand.
