ALMATY, Apr. 21, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : Kazakhstan defeated Nepal by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Kazakh top of Group 6 with 10 points. Nepal is third with 3 points. In their next game, Kazakhstan will meet Macau on April 23, while Nepal will face Iraq.
