KUNMING, May. 13, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (Asian Qualifiers) : China defeated Indonesia by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Indonesians top of Group 9 with 12 points. China is second with 10 points. In their last game, Indonesia will meet second-placed China on May 27, while China will face Cambodia.
