LUANDA, May. 6, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (African Qualifiers) : Angola defeated Cameroon by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Cameroonians top of Group A with 15 points. Angola is second with 11 points. In their next game, Cameroon will meet Togo on July 1, while Angola will face Libya.
