TUNIS, May. 20, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (African Qualifiers) : Tunisia tied 1-1 with Ivory Coast (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night.
The result put the Tunisians top of Group D with 14 points. Ivory Coast is second with 11 points. In their next game, Tunisia will meet Congo-Brazzaville on July 1, while Ivory Coast will face Madagascar.
