BLANTYRE, Jun. 17, 2000 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (African Qualifiers) : Malawi tied 1-1 with Burkina Faso (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The result left both teams on top of Group E with one point. In their next game, Burkina Faso will meet third-placed South Africa on January 27, while Malawi will face South Africa.
