PORT-OF-SPAIN, Apr. 25, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (American Qualifiers) : Trinidad and Tobago tied 1-1 with Mexico (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup (Final) on Wednesday afternoon.

The result put the Mexicans third in the group with 4 points. Trinidad and Tobago is bottom with one point. In their next game, Mexico will meet second-placed Costa Rica on June 16, while Trinidad and Tobago will face Honduras.
