KINGSTOWN, Jul. 16, 2000 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (American Qualifiers) : Jamaica defeated Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Jamaicans second in Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Jamaica will meet group leaders Honduras on July 23, while Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will face El Salvador.
