SãO PAULO, Nov. 15, 2000 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (South American Qualifiers) : Brazil defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Brazilians second in the group with 20 points. Colombia is 5th with 15 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet Ecuador on March 28, while Colombia will face Bolivia.
