BELGRADE, Sep. 5, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (European Qualifiers) : Yugoslavia tied 1-1 with Slovenia (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Slovenians second in Group 1 with 17 points. Yugoslavia is third with 16 points. In their last game, Slovenia will meet the Faroe islands on October 6, while Yugoslavia will face Luxembourg.
