NICOSIE, Nov. 14, 2000 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (European Qualifiers) : Cyprus defeated Andorra by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Cypriot second in Group 2 with 6 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Cyprus will meet Ireland on March 24, while Andorra will face Portugal.
