LLEIDA, Sep. 1, 2001 (AMP) — Korea Japan 2002 (European Qualifiers) : Portugal defeated Andorra by a big score of 7-1 (halftime: 5-1), in a qualifying game for the 2002 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Portuguese second in Group 2 with 18 points. Andorra is bottom with no points. In their next game, Portugal will meet Cyprus on September 5, while Andorra will face the Netherlands.
