NUREMBERG, Jun. 25, 2006 (AMP) — Germany 2006 : Portugal qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2006 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against the Netherlands (halftime: 1-0) on Sunday night at the Frankenstadion in Nuremberg.
All the action happened in the first half, with Portuguese midfielder Maniche goal in the 23rd minute.
