France beats Portugal to reach World Cup final
MUNICH, Jul. 5, 2006 (AMP) — Germany 2006 : France reached the FIFA World Cup final for the second time in their history with a 1-0 win against Portugal (halftime: 1-0) on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
All the action happened in the first half, with French midfielder Zinédine Zidane goal on penalty in the 33rd minute.
