Jun. 5, 2005 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (African Qualifiers) : Togo defeated Zambia by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.
The result put the Togolese top of Group 1 with 16 points. Zambia is third with 13 points. In their next game, Togo will meet second-placed Senegal on June 18, while Zambia will face Mali.
