MONTEVIDEO, Nov. 12, 2005 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Qualifiers) : Uruguay defeated Australia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Saturday at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo.
The second leg between Uruguay and Australia will be played on Wednesday November 16, 2005 in Sydney.
