CAPE TOWN, Jun. 29, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Spain qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against Portugal (halftime: 0-0) on Tuesday night at the Cape Town Stadium.
Portugal made the Spaniards doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Spanish forward David Villa in the 63rd minute.
