Spain beats Germany to reach World Cup final
DURBAN, Jul. 7, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : Spain reached the FIFA World Cup final for the very first time in their history with a 1-0 win against Germany (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday night at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Germany made the Spaniards doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Spanish defender Carles Puyol in the 73rd minute.
