TAIPEI, Oct. 28, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Uzbekistan defeated Taiwan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday night. Uzbekistan, who won the first leg (9-0), advance to the next round of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Taiwan is eliminated.
