RIYADH, Sep. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia tied 1-1 with Iran (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group 2 with one point. In their next game, Iran will meet group leaders North Korea on October 15, while Saudi Arabia will face the United Arab Emirates.
