SEOUL, Oct. 15, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Koreans top of Group 2 with 4 points. UAE is bottom with no points. In their next game, South Korea will meet second-placed Saudi Arabia on November 19, while the United Arab Emirates will face Iran.
