RIYADH, Apr. 1, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Saudi third in Group 2 with 10 points. UAE is bottom with one point. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet group leaders South Korea on June 10, while the United Arab Emirates will face South Korea.
