TIANJIN, Jun. 14, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iraq defeated China by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.

The result put the Iraqi second in Group 1 with 7 points. China is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Iraq will meet third-placed Qatar on June 22, while China will face Australia.
