MUSCAT, Feb. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Bahrain defeated Oman by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Bahraini top of Group 2 with 3 points. In their next game, Bahrain will meet second-placed Japan on March 26, while Oman will face Thailand.
