MANAMA, Jun. 7, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Bahrain tied 1-1 with Thailand (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Bahraini top of Group 2 with 10 points. Thailand is bottom with one point. In their next game, Bahrain will meet third-placed Oman on June 14, while Thailand will face Japan.
