MANAMA, Jun. 14, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Bahrain tied 1-1 with Oman (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Bahraini top of Group 2 with 11 points. Oman is third with 5 points. In their last game, Bahrain will meet second-placed Japan on June 22, while Oman will face Thailand.
