AMMAN, Feb. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : North Korea defeated Jordan by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Koreans top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, North Korea will meet group leaders South Korea on March 26, while Jordan will face Turkmenistan.
