SEOUL, Feb. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Turkmenistan by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Koreans top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, South Korea will meet second-placed North Korea on March 26, while Turkmenistan will face Jordan.
