ASHGABAT, Mar. 26, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Jordan defeated Turkmenistan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Jordanians second in Group 3 with 3 points. Turkmenistan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Jordan will meet group leaders South Korea on May 31, while Turkmenistan will face North Korea.
