RIYADH, Feb. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Singapore by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Saudi top of Group 4 with 3 points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet second-placed Uzbekistan on March 26, while Singapore will face Lebanon.
