SINGAPORE, Mar. 26, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Singapore defeated Lebanon by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Singaporeans second in Group 4 with 3 points. Lebanon is bottom with no points. In their next game, Singapore will meet group leaders Uzbekistan on June 2, while Lebanon will face Saudi Arabia.
